Biography: Born 1951 in the city of Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. She grew up in Ontario where she developed an avid interest in the natural world. She began a serious study of watercolour in 1973 and after moving to Nova Scotia in 1978 she began to find some success with her paintings of maritime subjects. In 1990 Donna returned to the West Coast and made her home on Hornby Island, where she opened her studio as a very active and successful summer gallery in the warmer months. Recently she has moved to Mexico where it's possible to paint outdoors on almost any day of the year.She has shown in some of Canada's most prominent galleries and her work is represented in the collections of literally hundreds of art enthusiasts.
