I have tried many different perspecives before in my artwork. This one thus far will have been the most rewarding. It all started about a year ago in January, 2008. I decided to set out on foot with only one, simple way to capture the world; a cell phone camera. I took pictures of everything that caught my attention; signs, flowers, cars waiting in long lines, strong patterns that form naturally and unnaturally. My idea was to create a presentation that would both amaze and bewilder the viewer. I have succeeded with over three hundred individual pictures. You see, these things that I took pictures of are everyday things that we all see on our daily lives. Some of these things we find thrilling, some not, some and most that we don't even notice. This collection was created for us to appreciate who we are in the time that we are here. I call this collection, Life and Mechanics. Enjoy!
