Biography: Dusty is self taught. His first painting was done using latex house paint on course masonite, 24"x 36" Landscape of a creek running through the mountains. This painting went to his Grandmother. The next painting done was a copy of the cover of a “True West “ magazine; it survives to this day hanging proudly in his mother’s living room in Oklahoma. By the age of 11, Dusty’s paintings where being sold at auction houses in California. These being done in oils on canvas board. But there is a story behind that part of his life you will have to ask yourself, or just wait for the book. Dusty has worked with oil's, Charcoal, Pencil and Airbrush; preferred medium is Acrylic, on hand stretched canvas, but loves to paint Murals. Murals bring the fantasies of the imagination into your life. “Is this not what we desire?” he say’s. Inspirations have been his travels all over the United States and Canada. Now the North Bay area of San Francisco’s beach’s and surrounding vineyards has proved to be a great source of visual inspiration.
