Biography: A-levels: A -Psychology A-English A-Art. Foundation diploma: Merit I completed my first exhibition at the Rampart in Whitechapel, which ran from: 15th-22nd July 04 I attended Haberdashers Askes Hatchem College in New Cross for secondary and sixth form and finished a foundation diploma at Chelsea College of Art (London Institute) I am presently at the conclusion of my first year at Edinburgh university on a MA History of art and English literature degree with Architectural History. My Art work has always been about finding beauty and balance. I like to experiment and to test the strengths and limitations of certain media. I enjoy figurative work and the figure appears in many of my works, whether it is a principal feature or just a Suggestion. I enjoy using paint to record accurately the world around me but like Klimt situate my figures within created spaces and backgrounds. I am interested in the building of layers to create depth and interest and often my work includes solitary figures intertwined and interacting within the layers of their backdrop.
