Not everyone has it easy. Whether or not you want to believe or accept it someone else's life is always harder than yours. My life wasn't so bad but it did have it's not so great moments. I am grateful for those hardships I experienced. Although it did leave me a little bruised it has made me a stronger individual. I would also like to mention the love of my life as being an important catalyst. He and his cold surroundings taught this bambie to open her eyes to life's unfairness and imperfections. He is my balance and I thank him for it.
Biography: I began drawing at the age of four. While other kids drew stick figures I sketched humans and real life images at age five. I won second place in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at about age ten. Later I attended the University of Houston and majored in Studio Art. I felt compelled to leave Houston and join the service. This was the hardest yet most liberating moment of my life. Not until I became a linguist for the Air Force did I discover my passion for painting. I produced several works during my seven year enlistment and had several exhibitions in the DC-Baltimore area. Now I am enjoying life as a civilian and I will keep painting as long as this passion continues.
