The paintings by H?l?ne are warm like blazing sunlight, yet mild. Bubbling with party-like energy, yet in silence. Portrayed in old fashioned clothing, yet intensely alive. Away from the shadows and longing for a world of light and colour. It does not matter from which culture the figures are stepping from, the figures are transmitting their stories to us, stories about human values and dignity like kindness, attention, loyalty and consolation. H?l?ne attempts in her art to connect the mystical to the art of painting. It is courageous in these days to represent values like these. These expressions can consolidate and please the people: it gives them hope.
