My paintings are mainly of a contemporary nature. I love colour and they inspire me to paint. I like to use texture and often combine unconventional mediums and am continually exploring new ways to express my ideas. In my mixed media work I make use of a variety of materials, also incorporating my own photographs and written texts. I invite the viewer to take a close look and see what they can discover in my paintings, what they might mean to you or to just enjoy the feast... In my photographs I do a lot of close ups. We need to slow down and take the time to discover more of the beauty that surrounds us. Photography has made me more aware of how blessed we are to have such a creative God. In our rushed and busy lives we would do well to focus in on the little blessings in our lives.
