Lewis studied Fine Art Printmaking at Loughborough University School of Art. Since graduating in 1998 he has continued to work with a broad array of silkscreen processes, often combining both painterly and free hand techniques to create varying levels of visual complexity. His work tackles and challenges the secrecy surrounding matters of our personal lives. In an attempt to overcome these difficult issues they are transformed, using a bold pictorial language and the expressive yet suggestive nature of the female form, into highly seductive pieces.
