To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. I take photographs with passion, so I try to make them art objects, but I make them for myself first and foremost- that is important. As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to my camera. A picture is produced. Then the moment is held until someone sees it. Then it becomes theirs. Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph it; often times I’m not searching for unusual subject, but making the commonplace unusual. I believe my work cannot be cornered into one category of photography. I love all aspects of photography. I try to keep my mind as open as possible when in the field to explore everything in a new way every time. !Please feel free to send me some feedback both good and bad regarding my work. It's all appreciated.!
