Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one. When I work, I work very fast, but preparing to work can take any length of time. Whether I'm painting or not, I have this overweening interest in humanity. Even if I'm not working, I'm still analyzing people. I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. The subject matter of my paintings springs from my fascination for Gods most beautiful creation on earth, may be elsewhere too but that is not known to anybody. Since childhood I was always fascinated by art. Art has always been a part of me since childhood. Mostly I work in oil and mix media on paper and canvas.
