My work uses figurative images to explore the impact of subtle shifts in image content, context, and mutual influence of form and contents. Some time ago I focused on the use of Still Life and floral imagery, but most recently, I have been focusing on philosophy, religion, death, life after death, reincarnation, inexplicable and inconceivable occurrences of human life. In my work I combine traditional realistic manner of oil and watercolor paintings and modern art.
Biography: Tamara N-Art-Neva – High educated Professional Artist, and Designer from Toronto (Ontario, Canada), who started her artistic carrier on graduating at the Architectural department of Brest’s University. Tamara is a member of Visual Arts Ontario. Ms. N-Art-Neva always demonstrated an interest in painting. From the earliest years Tamara fills strong craving for beauty, thirst for Art and Fashion. In the year 1983 Tamara began her work as a fashion artist in the famous Russian magazine “Fashion”. In 1987, Ms. N-Art-Neva left this work and owned her fashion business. In 1989 her enterprise became a department of a big science-production firm “Unitemp”. In the 1991 Tamara, together with other businessmen, found a Creative scientific-production firm “Beenart”, where she works as a Design Director - Deputy Director General. In the1995, Tamara had begun her work as an art-director and vice- president (production director) of US companies “MCM of Hollywood” and “Delta-Production”. In 1997, Ms. N-Art-Neva started her work as art-creative-director and, in the same time, as a production director of big Russian production and trade company “Krilony” (“Kristy”). Tamara was twice awarded the gold medal for best collection of lingerie. Ms. N-Art-Neva had won the awards for the best fashion designer of lingerie and underwear in the International Exhibitions. From June 2005 Tamara is working as the Designer of “9 Inc.” (Toronto ON). Since graduating from Brest’s University, Ms. N-Art-Neva works as an Artist. She used different techniques, manner and spheres of Art. Tamara combines the traditional realistic manner of oil and watercolor paintings and modern art tendencies. She brings into her works a lot of feelings, sensations and modern trends of Art. Tamara likes flowers and creates a lot of inimitable beauty art peaces of flowers. Her Still-Life, which always perfect in composition and technique, looks as the pearls in interiors of private homes and public buildings. Tamara is interested in religious aspects of philosophy, correlation and interdependence of Art, Religion, Life and Death. That motives form a considerable part of her creative work. Ms. N-Art-Neva has her own principles in creative work. One of them – never do any even authors copies of her Art works. On April 2005 Tamara took part Annual Exhibition “Awakening”– Theology through the Visual Arts. From October 2003 till September 2004 Tamara and her husband have had their own private Art Gallery “T&S Art Gallery” at 22Kensington Avenue, where they use to show and sell out Art works. On December 2003 she took part at Annual Art Show &Sale “Winter Palette” at North York Civic Centre. Before she move in to Canada Tamara took part at different exhibitions in Russia. Tamara’s art works are in private collections in France, USA, Finland, Poland, Canada and Russia.
