My work comes from within. I feel a deep connection to the process of painting and the ritual of the dark room. Art is my outlet for lifes worries, it is my stabalizer and and my freedome. Every piece reflects who I am, I can't help but put myself onto the canvas. When I paint my emotions come through the brush and the world melts away for me. As a result my work reflects feelings and ideas of moments in my life. From subjects on day to day life to that of my own personal feelings on issues in the world I place no limitations on what will come out in the finished process. I am always happy when others appreciate and understand what I have done with my work, although it is so much a part of me that even if no one responded I would never stop creating. It fills a deep need within me to express and create and provides a purpose to my life.
