Biography: Quentin Shih (a.k.a. Shi Xiaofan) was born in May of 1975 in Tianjin, China. After graduating from Southeast University in 1998 with a BS degree in EE, he came to Beijing, the art and cultural center of China, seeking to develop his career as a photographe. After shooting some powerful photos for an underground Rock & Roll magazine called Modern Sky, his photography style attracted more and more photo editors and art directors around Beijing, and he began to work as a professional photographe specializing in fine art, fashion, advertising and editorial photography. During the last few years, his works appeared on some top music and fashion magazines in China as well as some international publications. Currently he is shooting photos for some well known clients such as Yahoo, IBM, and some local corporations. In the meanwhile he is also shooting fashion, editorial and corporate photos for magazines and manufactures.
