I would call my work "Esoteric Impressionist Abstractions". I draw inspiration from metaphysical experiences, ancient/pagan/occult religions and their respective pantheons, angels, religious symbols, auras (seen 'em since I was a kid), and dreams. My artistic influences include Vincent Van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Devin Abrams, Michael Pukac, and an assortment of folk artists whose names I've never collected.
Biography: A combination of high and low art, mixing lifestyles and shapeshifting from uptown to downtown simultaneously. I will confuse you, almost certainly, but don't worry - you'll get used to it. While I was raised in Baltimore, and will always be a "Yankee" - New Orleans has become more my home than anywhere else. I am of Lakota, French, Italian, Scottish, German, Irish, English, African, and Dutch heritage. My totem is a black panther. When I am not painting, I am taking care of my daughter, writing prose-poetry, reading nonfiction texts on any variety of subjects, trying new recipes, taking long hot baths, and/or napping.
