Lately my primary artistic outlet has been digital art. The more time I spend working on digital art, the more fascinated I become by its possibilties. If you spend some time looking at my work, you’ll see that most of my recent work is abstract in nature. I love playing with light, colours and shapes, and find that digital art lends itself beautifully to that play. I have tremendous fun when I create these images. Depending on my mood and whim, I work within many different styles of abstract art. The common feature of all of my pieces is the interaction between colours and shapes.
Biography: Before working with digital art, I was a photographer. While participating in a group art show I met a digital artist, and became intrigued by the possibilties of this new medium. For the past 2 years I have been developing my skills as a digital artist. I love abstract images. Much of my photography concentrates on abstract patterns and textures that I find in nature, and in decaying structures. I find that the computer opens up a whole other world of possibilites for creating interesting abstracts. My husband and I are beekeepers in eastern Ontario (www.honeypro.ca). When I am not working on art or with the bees, I make cosmetics from our bee products.
