Very often an image of a painting in my head is an obsession which I can't get rid of until I reproduce the image in reality. Most of my paintings were done overnight (yes, red eyes next morning) as I work intensely and achieving the intense birth of a work is part of the process. I love three-dimensionality in abstract work and experiment with a rough rope, cutting through more traditional understanding of what a painting's limits are. Inspired by Pollock, I like horizontal painting methodology with abundant material poured on a canvas' surface.
