Most of my artworks was done in acrylics and oils. But lately I explore my skill in visual art by applying any found materials into my painting to create something new and fresh and exciting. I want to connect all of my artworks to my knowledge in God to be able to make contribution in sharing the gospel in my own little way. Some of my artworks are for sale. please feel free to e-mail me if you have questions regarding my works or the like.
Biography: Richard Bona a.k.a. BONAKID was born in manila, philippines. He has gotten his interest in art specifically in abstract expressionism late back in the year of millenium. His favorite artist is no other than Jackson Pollock wherein most of his paintings are done in the same approach called dripping technique. His paintings are too deep to understand because every drip of a paint has a meaning on his head that cannot be fathomed easily by an ordinary mind. As one view his works, for example, "written in blood", though it is semi-chromatic, most of the dripped paints formed a different figures of faces that looks like that of a Christ. He won his first title as 3rd placer in drawing competition in ASCM in 2000 where he is finishing his study in Christian Theology. A year after, he became finalist in AAP painting competition held in GSIS Museum.
