I have made my way out to a sort of clearing where I can transmit my ideas on the politics of art. The important thing now is to make something which resists inclusion into the dominant social paradigm. That sucking sound you hear is your delight in being alive being stolen from you. The artist is like a cultural physician who makes one remember the magnificence of life.
Biography: Born 1954 Chicago IL. Attended Marcel Duchamp retrospective exhibition Chicago Art Institute 1974. Never looked back. I've been painting since 1981. I gravitate towards Mexico, Paris and Berlin.
