Biography: Diana Pai, born 1986 in Amoy City, China, is a Chinese Visual artist and Photographer. She started practising drawing and painting at the age of four, with her parents support and encouragement, her work were entered to international competitions regularly, achieved several art prize and artist nominations in China, Japan and Russia when she was still a pupil. Diana moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the age of fifteen, where she attended a fashion design Institute. At the age of eighteen, She moved to England to pursue undergraduate studies in Fine Art and New Media Arts, successfully graduated in 2008 with two Bachelors of Arts degree with honours. During her degree studies, She was taught by Turner price nominee English Artist Richard Billingham, where she gained a different prospect of western photographic art. Right after her graduation, Diana held her first solo exhibition at the Cheltenham Museum and Art Gallery in the UK. Diana's artistic practice is influenced by artists such as Gregory Crewdson, and Philip Lorca Dicorcia. She currently lives and works in London, Practice Art and fashion photography. Her work has been featured in several european magazine as well as Vision Magazine in China. She is also a member of The Associate of Photographers.
