My idea of a perfect place to shoot is a junkyard, abandoned factory, or anyplace gritty, old or unfinished. I love abstract industrial photography, but at the same time, absolutley adore being 100 feet underwater and shooting the sun. There are great shots everywhere--I especially love shooting objects and scenes people see every day, but not necesscarily from my point of view. If the viewer cannot tell what an image of mine actually is, I am happy!
Biography: I first became interested in photography my sophomore year of high school. I loved the darkroom (and still do), the smell of the chemicals, how quiet everything was--the darkroom is therapy for me. I went to college in Tampa where I continued to pursue photography, and acquired a Canon Rebel XSI, underwater housing for my point and shoot (I am a certified Dive Master), a holga, and various lenses in addition to my original Canon AE-1. I am moving to St. Louis in June, and will continue to assist and freelance, in addition to a couple of part time jobs with local photographers.
