Photography has always been more or less something I have been interested in, but it suddenly was something that I was in love with. Since then I have progressively become more experienced in photographic styles and techniques. I hope to continue photographing throughout college and my careers, if I choose not to pursue a career in photography that is. In my work I tend to be drawn towards compositionally appealing pieces, as well as pieces focusing towards simplicity, complexity, life, and death. In other words, I just love taking pictures of whatever catches my eye or whatever my eye catches, either way. I presently use black and white film, simply because I love the process and the outcome of using black and white film. Majority, if not all, of my film and prints are done in a darkroom by me. This allows me to be more creative and it allows my prints to be more detailed and precise by my own standards. I am presently continuing my photography at home. I am hoping to explore more with people in photography. Previously, I have not done a great deal of portraits or used people as my subjects. By doing this I am attempting to let myself become more open and flexible in my photography. I do hope people enjoy my work and I would love to hear any feedback.
