Drawing my inspiration from Pop Art, Music, Patterns and Shapes, And spending 3 years at Sunderland University, experimenting with all aspects of art and the use of many materials. I found my passions laid in drawing and painting. Once I homed the skills and technices from experimentation, I blended these with images of my personal favourite Iconic images of ‘Rock Star Heros’ . Working from photographs and magazine pictures to create original paintings in this unique Pop Art style. Using Black, White and Greys for every piece. Doing so gives each piece of work a Striking, Glossy and almost Photographic Boldness to its presents. The need to create and paint everyday has become an addiction. I find myself always in search of new pictures and Genres taking me from my personal Rock Star Heroes where I started, on a journey thought Music, History, Movies and beyond. In my latest pieces, pushing the glossy imagery a step further into the world of Fetish. The Black Glossy Look of PVC/LATEX suites push the boundaries of my style of painting a step further, giving the painting a Sexy, Sensual, Erotic feeling.
