James Kirkbride is an award-winning, young British-based photographer, specialising in 35mm film photography. His work includes contemporary subjects, with an emphasis on making the ordinary extraordianry, detailing what is there, yet often unnoticed. Portraits, landscapes, abstracts and street photography provide the backdrop to his deep body of work.
Biography: James Kirkbride was born in Banbury, UK. He has no formal training as a photographer, being self taught. He has won several awards for his photography, including for his pieces "Sun on Balloon" and "Kind of Blue". James has exhibited in one exhibition to date, in 2004, entitled Drawing Energy.
