My work has no category. I only create whatever comes to mind. To me, Drawing and painting is about solving problems. Trying to get what's in my mind on paper. If I get even close, I'm happy, which is rare.
Biography: I'm a jazz lover, writer, Art Director, and illustrator. I attended the High School of Art and Design in New York, where my main focus was to be a cartoonist for Marvel Comics. Although a couple of my classmates did go on to being successful superhero artists, I never felt I had a real aptitude for superhero art. So I tried painting, and I'm still trying. I have done some illustration for various magazines and I did a line of Greeting Cards for a now defunct company called Ethnographics. Many of my favorite artists are traditional Illustration masters like Howard Pyle, NC Wyeth, Frank Frazetta, Ed Hopper, and Winslow Homer & painters and I love Miro, and Jean Michel Basquiat and cartoonists like Neal Adams, John Romita, Jack Cole and the Mexican caricaturist, Ernesto Cabral. My main medium is watercolor, although I dabble in many others.
