Biography: I attended a three year art course at Scarborough Art College in the 1960s and later worked in London and Leeds in the Screen Printing Industry, in the 70s I learned how to engrave on glass and achieved an A.F.G.E. (Associate Fellowship of the Guild of Glass Engravers) I was later nominated for a full Fellowship by two of the most prominent Engravers in their fields, Sir Lawrence Whistler and Peter Dreiser M.B.E. unfortunately at that time I injured my wrist and was unable to continue with engraving, In the period that I was engraving I had successfully exhibited in some very prestigious venues such as the Ashmoleum Museum, Libertys London, Glaziers Hall London and at Castle Howard Yorkshire. I had not been involved in any artistic endeavours until recently when I found the urge to create some sculptures and paintings, and at the moment am concentrating on sculpture combined with Glass Fusing.
