My paintings are concerned with the day-to-day thoughts and feelings, which we often forget, hide or ignore, and the importance they may or may not have. These fleeting moments are the things we think about when our imagination drifts; the pre-rational emotions, urges, instincts and fantasiesthat fill our minds before structured thought emerges. To me these unstructured, random and usually banal notions are an important part of our day-to-lives, often consuming our imaginations into a dream like state.
