I look for the histories in everyday settings, grafitti and the passage of time's imprint on the inanimate. I am drawn to texture and the depth and difference between light and shadow. Micro landscapes that reside in old doors, cement, and plastic rods. There are paintings everywhere in our environments - the treasure hunt is looking for them, admiring the transformation of the mundane into something more grand.
