Biography: Tom Peno was born in the small rural town of Coudersport, PA. At a young age he was active in the "advanced art" curriculum at Coudersport Elementary School. In high school he filled his schedule with as many art courses as possible. Under the guidance of Dave Costano, Tom received a well rounded knowledge of all things art. His senior year, Tom was awarded the 1999 Potter County New Century Fine Arts award, an award given for excellence in the art curriculum. He continued his art education into college where he graduated with honors from the Art institute of Pittsburgh with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Tom has always strived to be a "jack of all trades" creating as many creative outlets as possible. His favorite mediums are gouache, pen and ink and digital photo manipulation. He has also done freelance graphic design work for a number of businesses in the greater Pittsburgh area as well as commissioned art pieces. "I'm inspired by music, film and life experiences. I enjoy sharing my art with people just as much as I do creating it." I currently have art work hanging up in my friends gallery on Main Street in Washington, PA as well as Brothers Pizza Resturaunt and the Inspiration Cafe, both located on main street as well. I am available for commission. Email me if you're interested. Up coming shows: April 18th, 6-10 pm "An Awesome Art Show" Brothers Family Resturaunt 3 North Main St Washington, PA 15301
