Artwork is a way for me to share my story with the world. When words seem to fail, I can always rely on my fingers to do the talking. I hope to create beautiful pieces and create them a little faster than I am at this time. Maybe one day I will minor in art or even teach art in public school. I will keep my fingers crossed! I am indecisive, meticulous, and judgmental with my own work. Because of these, deadlines are not my friend. I can not choose a favorite color, might as well all the components of a painting. Though I take a long time, my artwork is meaningful. I push topic boundaries to apply them to my life. I want all my pieces to represent a part of me. After many hours of work, sometimes I am thrilled with the finished product and sometimes I just want to throw it out the window. Currently, I am in an advanced drawing and painting class at my high school. I love my class and it challenges me to push myself. With trying to have the most creative idea or the most detailed work, I am shoved toward attempting new things. I am trying all different types of media and I found I like watercolor, acrylic, and pencil the best. I hope this gives you a view of my art world.
Biography: I am a high school student and I have lived in the same small town my whole life. Life here in South Carolina has taught me a lot of things, including stopping and appreciating the world around you. My interest in art was spiked by my grandma, who is a painter, and my older brother. I took my first art class at Greenwood High School with Ms. Alewine for a teacher and the rest is history! I am inspired by my family road trips to Colorado, my friends, and all the great things in life. I hope this gives ya’ll a little incite into my life. <3 Allie
