My cats feature in the main bulk of my work. I aim to capture their very different personalities in my "Character Cat" paintings and produce illustrations that will make people smile. I welcome pet portrait commissions.
Biography: After a one year art foundation course at Chesterfield College of Art and Technology, I undertook a HND in Advertising at the Northern School of Creative Arts in Doncaster. I have always sketched and painted in my spare time, with animals providing my main inspiration. For several years now, I have provided e-cards for the environmental site, Care2.com, and sometimes stationery designs for the Riverhaven Elderly Cat Welfare shelter. I participate annually in the "Wild About Art" wildlife exhibition in Sheffield and have twice been finalist in the "Paint A Wildlife Subject" (PAWS) competition. I founded my website in June 1999, and have made friends with animal lovers worldwide through it. My cats especially appreciate all the fan-mail that they receive.
