I don't pretend I'm a pro, this is a hobby turned obsession for me and I just want to pursue it and see what happens. But I think I have an interesting view of the World which I'd like to share with others, whilst I hone my technique! I aim to become a travel photographer, hence a fair bit of my photos not being of the UK (although this is partly due to being rained on whenever I go out to take pictures!), I hope people look at my photos and imagine themselves there
Biography: Lauren was born and raised in Manchester, England. After a brief stint in dramatics and a few wild teenage years she picked up a digital camera and started shooting everything and anything, moving onto an old canon SLR and travelling anywhere she could to take pictures. She is currently (unsuccessfully) trying to get a place as an assistant on shoots and in studios and is scrimping and saving all her money to jet off abroad to take more pictures and bask in the sunshine. Lauren is experimenting with black and white photography (and cursing the processing prices) and slide film and is applying to be placed on a Foundation Arts course at Manchester Metropolitan University next academic year, where she hopes to pursue a degree in photography.
