I am a full time artist based near Whitby, North Yorkshire specialising in panoramic landscapes of the North Yorkshire moors and coastline of the North East of England. I paint predominantly in oils on canvas blocks using a palette knife. It is pointless me trying to put into words a description of my work. Look at the pictures, they say it all.
Biography: At the age of 13 I was persuaded to give up art as there was no point in pursuing a career in it. I became a chemical engineer. I was alright as an engineer but deep down I needed to excel. I'm now 42 and have been full time in art for 12 years. I think I'm doing more than alright.
