I was born in London in 1954, and started drawing at a very young age showing a natural talent for art. From 1970-1973 studied art and design to Diploma level. Initially I worked as a graphic designer, then in 1974 concentrated on my main ambition to work as a professional fine-artist. From this time I worked on portrait commissions and also produced work for exhibitions. I first ventured into publishing fine-art prints in the mid 70's, offering three of my works. Prints, of a good quality, are an excellent way for many people to have the enjoyment of owning an artist's work. I have had a special interest in automobiles since I was a teenager, particularly American auto's, hot rods, and lowriders. When drawing or painting I take a creative approach, subtlely emphasising the individual auto's intrinsic design elements. Representing them from a viewpoint that incorporates asymmetry and visual opposition in the composition, to create dynamic balance in the whole image. My style is both technical and creative. The paintings you view here are available to buy as original prints on canvas or watercolour paper. They are available in the USA, UK, and Europe.
