Art is a statement of my interconnectedness to the world around me. I enjoy using an artists' tools to identify with artists who lived before me and to paint the colors and patterns and rhythms of my own life . Artistic goals are to learn to paint and express many thoughts and dreams within my paintings, to paint prolifically. There are enough paintings here close to home and far away to take me a lifetime of paint and creativity, upond miles of canvas to your eyes, dancing upon this page at last, in your hand. My art is a simple communication process. It is a childhood crayon at last stroked deftly with the heart of a woman.
Biography: Art education includes two years of drawing and painting from Jefferson Davis Community College teachers Mary Ott Davis and Sandra Halat, 2004 until 2005. January, 2006, as a transfer student studies began in oil painting at University of Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, studying with Jason Guyens. Painting continues with an emphasis in value directed by Ben Shamback.
