Artist Statement
Notes From 2008
By Dennis & Sharon Eavenson
Delving into the human perception of culture, social, political and physical conditions defines our artworks and expresses our individual reactions concerning human behavior. Creating art is our creative outlet and a means to share with other humans sensory, emotional and intellectual responses to the shared human experience. Our work is multidisciplinary and approaches many themes. We seek our own enlightenment through the visual experience and the act of creation is passionate, joyful and liberating. The artistic process can be compared to evolution, transformation, birth, catharsis and epiphany. For us it is the fuel for inner growth and development, shaping and defining our life journey. We hope to share with others our diverse viewpoints and inspire unexpected ways of viewing the world.
