Ellies work is based upon her surroundings and nature, but also her emotional attraction towards it. She manipulates material to portray simplified pieces that convey line, colour, form and shape from different types of medium and desires the need for constant exploration into materials. She finds her investigative process inspiring, Her work shares an ongoing ambition with her personal identity, existence and creation in general, but also a constant interest into manipulation, abstraction and the portrayal of subject matter and material. Biography: Ellie has studied art and graphic design from GCSE to A-Level, and then onto an Art and Design Foundation Course and FineArt Degree at De Montfort University. Later, Ellie has completed an Interior Design Higher Diploma and is now working towards a Copywriting Diploma.
