The artist has worked in the fields of illustration; and in the 1990's produced a series of cartoons for Psychic News. He has also worked as what has become popularly known as a Psychic Artist, or Spirit portraitist. In the late 1990's he demonstrated a type of ' mediumship of the pencil ' in venues around Britian. He would sit facing away from the audience, whilst engaging a psychic automatism he would draw portraits of people who were later recognised as the dead relatives of members of the audience.
