It is through my love of color that my most recent paintings have begun. No longer am I trying to capture a rendered realistic image, but rather I seek to explore the essence of color and shape relationships. My paintings begin with a series of shapes that are related to one another, and as the paintings develop I play with how the colors can relate to create dynamic compositions. In this way, each painting becomes a testament to an in-depth study of a specific color palette and form.
Biography: I have recently graduated from Daemen College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Art Education. I also have a minor in painting, though I do create art using all forms of mediums.
