Alot of my work is essentially still life and I have tried to modify this by creating random, overlapping and transparent images - ideas taken from the Cubist painters. I would like to develop my skills in creating more figurative and urban landscape works.
Biography: Have taken up art again in recent years after many years. Surprised to find I could still draw. I've no interest in developing in any particular field as I like trying out different ideas and ways of working too much. I enjoy working with different media. I go to classes and enjoy the interaction there - seeing other peoples work and getting comments on mine. Sometimes it can be hard to 'see' our own work, especially with a piece that becomes work intensive.
