Painting chose me. I’ve painted since I was a little girl. My artwork continually changes as I acquire a greater appreciation for the world around me. Painting is always an enlightened journey. A technical background in fashion illustration, graphic and textile design gave me a solid foundation to now paint intuitively. Layering of translucent and opaque colors along with textures offers infinite directions. Taking risks with my paintings always creates a finer and more enhanced piece of artwork. My paintings have evolved into Abstract Contemporary Figurative works that primarily depict the feminine form. Love, motherhood, sensuality, relationships, and dance are my inspirations.
