Biography: Orlando was born in Lima, Peru in the middle of the 1950's. He is a self-taught artist. He is considered the most original peruvian artist from the 80's. He started to exhibit his works back in 1980, until 2004. He lives in Lima and his works are displayed in peruvian galleries, and they are also in personal collections, in USA and Europe (Holland - Rotterdam). He is the most advertised peruvian artist on the Net. His paintings show the anxiety for the light and the movements of colors, looking just as the Impresionists and Post Impresionists artists approached the liric abstracts, and also looking for abstract images with the free solutions of his paintings. Orlando has a strong influence from his ancient Inca's culture, specially from the Mochica's culture. This culure began about 2,000 years ago in South America. His paintings show a different composition and design about the classic knowledge of paintings... braking rules, and discovering new alternatives.
