ALL MY ART ADHERES TO ONE BASIC RULE: I PAINT WHAT I LIKE, AND I LIKE WHAT I PAINT. Much of my inspiration comes from the most wonderful place on God's earth - the County of Mayo in the West of Ireland with its unique scenery and rugged coastline. A place I now call Home. I have been painting and drawing since my childhood and am largely self taught. Having made the decision to pursue painting as a full-time career in 2003, I began experimenting with different subject matter - seascapes,landscapes, animal art and floral paintings before settling mainly on landscapes and seascapes (with the odd abstract thrown in!). Originally, my preferred medium was pastels (soft and oil), however, I now work mainly in acrylics and watercolours. I hope that you enjoy viewing my work and look forward to receiving your comments in my guestbook.
