Biography: By way of a short explanation, I have always enjoyed painting and drawing but over the past 3 or four years I have concentrated almost exclusively on pencil drawing, specifically portraiture, as it is the intricacy and expression of the human face which interests me most. I usually work from postcards or photographs taken whilst travelling abroad and I endeavour to capture the spirit of what I see.
