Oils, for me, express the reverence and empathy I have for creation through the sensual earthiness of the medium. Painting provides me with a means to express a deep connection with the natural world, I paint because I want to share that spiritual connectedness with others. My subjects are largely based on observations, experience, the changing light of day and the mood it creates.
I started painting at a very young age and I still find today that painting excites me to the core, I relight that spark of spontaneous creativity and selfexpression every time I pick up a brush.
Each of my paintings is a tribute to nature and creation that produce in me a sense of wonder and excitement. The quest to understand the nuances of life around me inspires me to keep searching and growing in a craft that I truly love.
