I like to draw a lot it helps me pass time. When I work with art materials I am always reminded that I can imagine my on little world. I usually like to begin a piece by looking at a picture to inspire me to draw a better one. I know a piece of artwork is done when I have covered the entire piece of paper with something creative. Usually when my work looks good I feel good inside. When people look at my work, I’d like them to see a work of art. I do believe my favorite tool would have to be a pencil. It is my favorite because I can erase when ever I want to. My favorite material would definitely be prismacolor pencils. I like to use them because the blend nicely and they are colorful. I do believe that there is a pattern in my work because I really like to draw nature and some people. Plus I always use a pencil and prismacolor pencils. My favorite color is purple. I think the three best qualities of purple are that it can be light, dark, and also it is a beautiful color. Currently I’m working on my painting skills. I just got done with painting a piece that I had to put molding paste on first then paint over it. With this particular piece I decided to paint bubbles, I think that it turned out very good. My next piece is going to be drawing and painting together. This year I have been trying to be creative with different materials in my artwork. Some things so far have been challenging in my art classes, but I have gotten past them and did it.
Biography: I was born and raised in South Carolina. I started to draw when I was a little girl. It helped me pass the time when I was bored. I like to draw more than I do anything else. I have always taken art classes to help me improve my art skills. I got my art skills form my mom and dad because they both are skilled in art. I hope to do something in my future with art.
