Astist Statement. My name is Sharon Fitzpatrick. I'm an Australian artist who works with sereval different styles and mediums to create my paintings. Most of my pieces are based on self,feelings,and life experiences at the time of creating them. While some of these paintings were done in matter of days, others were more difficult and took several weeks to achieve the effect i was affer. I travelled to many different locations to find " That perpect place " to portray the emotion I was after. Biography: My name is Sharon Fitzpatrick. I class myself as an emerging Australian artist. I have held many art exhibitions in my career and have also been commissioned to do various pieces for members of the public with great success. I have sold many pieces of artwork throughout Australia and overseas and take pride in the feedback and recognition that I have received. My works are of a diverse range, working with all different forms and styles ,my favourite medium being oils. Most of my inspiration comes from within ,through my life experiences and emotions that run high and deep.This is where I have learn't to turn something negative into something positive and have be able to produce a work of art.
