I wish to express myself in my work as well as have a message in my work. My style is influenced from surrealism and German expressionism. I keep my painting interesting with bright use of color and painting texture. I prefer acyrlic on canvas as it seems a more durable medium. I am working with assembage as well.
Biography: I was born in Pensacola, Florida but grew up all around the US. I had my comic strip in the Camden News when I was 13. I attended PJC and UWF Collages. While studying Art History I was most influenced by the German expressionists from 1920's and surrealists such as Salvador Dali. In 2000 I saw a documentary about the life of Kirk Cobain and his work influenced me as well as well as some of his album cover art.
