I'm trying to capture beauty in my figure studies, but also to find some mood that a viewer can take away with them.
Biography: I was born in Nottingham, England in 1975. My childhood was filled with an endless scribbling habit like many others, but I never considered taking up art as anything other than a hobby. After investing in some oil paints I started to take it more seriously, but it was only relatively recently that I've gained the confidence to show my work. I'm a self-taught artist, painting in oils for the past six years and choosing to concentrate on figures and portraits in a realistic style. I don't rule out dabbling in other areas, but for the moment there is so much to explore right here.
