Biography: Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. My love for art began when I was very little, in about the second or third grade. Every since my first set of crayons, cartoon drawing book, and art class, I have not been able to dream of anything better to do with my time. I went to Elementary school in Riverdale and graduated to go on to Thornton Township High School in Harvey. I did not receive any formal teaching in the Arts until college. I went to college at the University of Illinois at Chicago where I initially enrolled as a Business student. Yes, let’s just say that you should not go to college for what your parents want you to do, but for what you want to do. Since I was not doing very well in that program, I finally decided to follow my dream. I spent an extra semester as a business student to bring my grades up, and in the Summer of 99, I enrolled in the Art and Design College at UIC as a Graphic Design and Art Education major. It has been an on going love with the arts ever since.
