Art, for me, is a necessity of life. Without it, I feel incomplete and dissatisfied. I need solitude to let my brain roam freely through ideas and the finished product rarely bears any resemblance to my original intentions. What would this look like if.....I changed the colour relationships, made it smaller, made it bigger, switched it around etc etc ? What is this piece intended to say ? Questions galore on a glorious path !
Biography: I live in Brighton in the United Kingdom and formally trained as a textile artist. Although I rarely have time to do any actual stitching any more, the influence of that training shows up quite often in my work without my being aware of it. Time for art work is scarce ....I have a day job as a pharmacy manager....I make a point of creating something every day even though it usually ends up in the recycle bin on the computer !
